Over the years, I've picked up a lot of skills and knowledge while
working hard on my hobbies. I’m mostly self-taught in everything I know,
and I’m quite eager to learn more along the way.I’ve recently gotten more comfortable with design and
feel like my art & design aesthetic is coming into its own.Being creative means I get to be free from the world's burdens every now and then. Be it art, writing or content creation, I get to make our world disappear for a while and bring you along on my journey of creating new characters, worlds & universes. I’m incredibly grateful for those who find my work, characters, content & stories interesting 🎔Your support means I get to continue doing what I love while also allowing me to focus more of my free time on being creative.

⟢Background
I previously worked as a tutor. Assisting Grade 2, 4 and 5 learners
by helping them with homework, guiding them
through the work they struggled with,
teaching them how to problem solve, do test prep &
find study methods that worked for them.I stopped tutoring after the pandemic hit to take better care of my grandparents. I’ve since acquired many new skills that involve nursing
and caretaking but of course my heart belongs to the creative world.It’s been a struggle to set aside a moment to focus on my creative work
and for the longest time I’ve been without a (relatively) quiet space
to call my own where I can work on content creation, art etc. in peace.
I’ve recently moved into a space where I've set aside a small studio area
for all my creative work(s) and look forward to connecting with all of you
once again. My hope for this year is to find a better balance by reaching out
to others for help so I can start focusing on my own life once more.I recently returned to the world of tutoring via my old employer who reached out asking for help and assistance with the Grade 3 & 4's. I've since picked up new skills working with the Grade 3's, whom I've yet to work with until now.

⟢Goals & dreams
I have big goals creatively so the journey has been a slow one
especially given life’s curveballs, but I’m extremely motivated,
excited, and determined to succeed!I’m working hard to achieve my goal of ‘opening’ a small business, RavenMahinaStudio.I’m still quite far off from realizing this goal yet the dream is
to start out with some art/designs over on Ko-fi then work my way up
to other creative projects such as journals and stickers.[I’ll also be setting up a Blog this coming year, where I’ll be sharing
some thoughts, scribbles and stories with all of you.] I've since revised this decision after being back at work with my previous employer,
and due to time constraints, etc. I've decided to make Substack my home
for Blogging ideals for now.My writing journey has been an idle one for far too long, and
I wish to reach out and connect with all of you differently,
so I think this will be a good move for us moving forward!

⟢Content Creation
I’ve had many different channels over the years,
growing & learning as I fell in love with content creation and editing.Back in 2016 I created my very first YouTube channel,
along with my best friend. I learned so much and will always
think fondly of those days.During 2018/2019, I created a channel called Mochiko Mizuame
(my first vtuber persona!) I loved what I was doing and working on
for the channel, but the brand name was very restricting since
it had nothing to do with any of my OC’s I’ve created over the years
and I wanted to incorporate them into my content creation somehow.Although those were only the first stepping stones into the future,
as I close the chapter on all those channels and hard work
I put into them over the years,
I can’t help but be proud of how far I’ve come.During 2020/2023, I ended up rebranding
to Cozy Moonlight (Cozy Moonlight Gaming & Studio)
so I could focus on all my OC’s as well as art & designs.
These two channels have reached a bit of a standstill
nearing the end of 2025 yet I'm planning to continue posting
some more casual & 'Let's play' type of content on the Gaming channel
& start working on some new art for the Studio channel in the future.I now have an official gaming channel called Raven Mahina.
This is where I will be uploading main content as well as bigger projects
(even though video production is slow-paced at best right now!)
My art, shop and other creative works will be on RavenMahinaStudio.I've yet to decide whether RMS or CMS will be set up as my
main art/design shop.⚠️Note: I don't currently own a microphone;
the headset microphone quality is so bad,
so I haven't even considered using it,
which has been making the creative process a bit more challenging!
I hope to get a microphone for my content creation this coming New Year, especially if I want to consider streaming..[ I’ll also be working on a second channel, Cozy Dreamer, where I’ll be
focusing on learning more about music, ambience & nature sounds.

especially for South Africans,

To be one of the bigger 'Vtuber' content creators here in South Africa!I want to keep my goals & dreams short for now~

I'm hoping to have my Discord up and running for the new year,
yet I'm also eager to overcome my fear of streaming and
